AVP Financial Reporting

Description: Top Tier Investment Bank looking for a AVP to join their APAC Financial Reporting group.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1) Review banking returns to ensure compliance with HKMA reporting requirements.
2) HKMA returns automation.
3) Put in place additional validation and controls, as well as efficiency improvements in process
flows within Finance.
4) Provide best practises of financial advice in the area of financial control and corporate
governance.
5) Participate in ad-hoc reporting, new system implementation and projects.
Requirements:
1)University graduate in accounting or finance with a recognised professional qualification (CPA
or equivalent).
2) At least 5 years experience in financial institutions.
3) HKMA experience essential (Preparation, Review and Analysis)
4) Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and US GAAP Preferred
